1. Avoid Working Overtime Frequently

If you are frequently working long hours, then something is wrong. You should talk to your manager and explain that your workload is too heavy for the normal working hours.

If you keep on working overtime, you will soon get to the point of burnout. This will affect not only your productivity, but your health as well.

2. Bring Your Own Lunch

Restaurant meals often include high-calorie food choices and large portions. You can eat healthier and for much less, if you prepare your own lunch.

3. Drink Enough Amount of Water

Sometimes when you are immersed in work, you lose track of how much water you are drinking in a day. But, it is important that you drink enough to stay active and hydrated.

Dehydration can cause ill effects, including sluggishness and drowsiness. You should always drink between 6-8 glasses of water everyday.

Depending on the climate in your region and level of physical activity, you may need to consume more water. Eating fresh, juicy fruits is also a great way to fight dehydration and hunger pangs.

4. Eat Breakfast

Eat breakfast is the cornerstone of a healthy lifestyle. A healthy and wholesome breakfast can provide you with the energy needed to get through the first half of your day. Also, this will help prevent you from consuming junk food.

5. Maintain Good Posture

When you are in the same seated position for hours, it will have negative effects on your back. You can prevent this from happening if you are seated in a proper position with a straight spine.

6. Move as Much as You Possibly Can!

Walk around your office and stretch every now and then. Take breaks every hour or if you possibly can and move your body. Take every possible opportunity to burn calories.

You can move while waiting for programs on your computer to load. If you need to discuss something with your officemate, go to his or her desk, instead of making a phone call or just sending an email.

Also, if you need to go to another floor in the office building, take the stairs instead of the elevator. Team up with a friend at work to take regular breaks for exercise and to help in motivating each other.

7. Take Vacation Leaves

Even if it is just for a weekend in town, take the opportunity to rest. Vacation is not just a worker’s right; it is also a necessity.

Vacation helps in reducing stress and in keeping your psychological health fit.

Sugar can weaken your immune system, and when your immune systems are suppressed, your bodies are not as effective at fighting off bacteria, which is a leading cause of other inflammatory skin conditions and acne. Also, sugar can contribute to constipation in your bowels, which can lead to congestion in the skin.

It has been proven that excess sugar will negatively impact your skin. According to Livestrong, sugar in the body is acidic, therefore, creating issues in your digestive tract, which establishes a more hospitable environment for the proliferation of bad bacteria in your gut. This means: More bacteria, more toxins, worse skin.

2. Milk

Milk can do good for your body good, but your skin? Not so much. Most especially the skim variety. Milk can be full of growth factors and growth hormones that remain biologically active even after pasteurization.

Studies have shown that milk appear to make their way into your blood stream where can cause inflammation, affect insulin, and ramp up oil production. The result is breakout city.

You can choose organic milk, whic may be a good alternative, This is because organic milk contains only regularly-occurring hormones, instead of added ones that are found in non-organic options. 3. High-Glycemic Foods

Starchy foods such as pastas, white breads, cakes, and even corn syrup, are best avoided for dewy skin. Foods that are known to be high glycemic can cause rapid spikes in your blood sugar.

4. Hydrogenated Foods and Fried Foods

Oils that sit and are used over and over again, like the one on your French fries are cooked in, are really bad, because these fats do not detox from the body. These can contribute to poor circulation of the blood, a weakened metabolic process and heart disease.

5. Salt
