How to Get Glass Skin in 5 Easy Steps

There’s a new skingoal in town, so move-over baby skin! We are talking about a complexion that is so translucent, so smooth, and so clear that it looks like, well, a pane of glass.

It’s called, you guessed it! Glass skin, and it is your ticket to an ultra-glossy, super smooth, reflective-like finish.

So how do you make it happen in real life? You will need to continually disintegrate dead skin cells and always keep skin hydrated. Here’s how:

1. Double Cleanse

You will not achieve glass skin by haphazardly swiping a cleansing cloth over your face during the end of the day. For a poreless complexion, you have to dissolve every traces of dirt, makeup, oil, pollutants and sweat, before calling it a night.

Also, most regular cleansers will not cut it either, especially if you are dealing with a long-wearing or heavy-duty sunscreen formulas.

2. Apply a Toner

You must always use a natural and hydrating toner for your skin. Before going to sleep, make sure that you have washed your face thoroughly and apply a toner.

3. Essence

Essense contains active ingredients that helps in hydrating your skin deeper, increasing your skin’s natural cell turnover, and in enhancing your skin’s absorption of nutrients from products you put onto your skin afterwards.

4. Moisturiser is Important

There would be no glass skin without the use of a good moisturizer!

Remember that your skin is always changing, with product combinations, seasons, time of the month, and with age. Therefore, moisturizers will naturally change too.

Make sure to examine if your moisturizer is doing its job well, otherwise it is time to ditch the old, and in with a new one.

5. Protect with SPF

The most important step is using sunscreen. Protect it, seal it, and use sunscreen on it, because it is the biggest reason for wrinkles. Not using sunscreen can cause wrinkles to form early, even if you are young.
